Description: Over the last decades the prevalence of allergies has continously increased, especially in children and adolescents. Already 30% of the population is affected. The Charité is well-positioned in national and international allergy research and as certified Comprehensive Allergy Center wer made it our aim to not only deliver tested quality for clinical care at the hightest level but also implement a real staged concept in allergy medical care. A high level of transparent criteria ensures that patients can select the institutions best suited for their individual case and a close collaboration with registered physicians provides an extensive network of allergy professionals.
To obtain the hightest standards and guarantee efficient knowledge transfer training sessions for our registered partners and informational events for our patients are offered regularly. With this establishment of an interdisciplinary centre experimental and clinical allergy research from different areas of medicine are connected. Since the formation of the Allergie-Centrum-Charité in October 2003 we ensure a joint contact point and optimal medical care for all allergic patients.
