Mission Statement: Our mission is to provide high quality, specialized medical care to patients with allergic disordersand asthma, conduct clinical and basic research and offer education in the field of allergy and immunology to medical students and medical professionals.
Description: This is a research oriented clinical university department with up to 15 000 consultations per year (25% children, 75% adults). The center employes 12 medical doctors ( allergists,pulmonologists, ENTs, dermatologists), 5 immunologists/biologists and at present trains 5 Ph.D students. Faculty includes 2 full professor of allergology and 4 associate professors) Clinical units include: Severe asthma clinic, Food and drug allergy clinic and Urticaria Center (UCARE).
